Fanfiction is the soul of PureMX.net. Only through fanfiction will the characters, themes, and missed opportunities of Mutant X ever be explored.
PureMX actively encourages the writing of Fanfiction about all characters and aspects of Mutant x. New stories are initially posted in Unknown Mutations for comment. All completed stories are permanently archived.
The section devoted to the writing of fanfiction may be found here and contains material of interest and value to writers of all skill levels. If there is interest, we will schedule chat sessions for writers.
The purpose of this rating system is to allow our worldwide readership to understand the nature of our stories, even if they are unfamiliar with American movie rating systems.
A Suitable for all readers
T Teens and older; contains material possibly disturbing to younger readers (violence, gore)
D Best read by adult readers; contains detailed, thorough, anatomical descriptions of violence or
sex
R Romance
In addition, the following modifying ratings will be used:
C Death of a canon character
V Contains a lot of vulgar language
NR Not rated yet
All terms applying to a particular story will be used, giving the most complete rating to potential readers.
AU Not a rating term; indicates a story set in a non-canon alternative universe. Canon material is considered to be that appearing in the 66 episodes and the Tribune faux websites.
