The official site. The Boards require lockstep obedience to a narrow definition of “fan” [one who adores all aspects of Mutant X unthinkingly, and who never questions anything, especially Marstii, the moderator]; be prepared to lurk only or never post what you think, because independent thoughts will be deleted and independent thinkers banned from posting. Of course, this comment applies only to those times when there IS an Official Board; when posters ask difficult questions, the OB vanishes for varying lengths of time. Comics Continuum is a better source of news and updates about the show; the official MX site is typically the last place a major change is announced, if ever.
Tribune’s “faux websites”
We call them “faux websites” because they are designed to appear to be legitimate sites for the Breedlove Foundation, Genomex, and more. These sites are wonderfully done, and well-written, more coherent and consistent than the series. Background information on characters and organizations makes MX richer and a good deal more fun to watch. All are worth the time to read. Tribune wrote and designed these sites, and pays for their display; if this is not canon, what is?

A large, layered site. One goes in through a top layer, and then descends ever more deeply into the inner workings of Genomex. GSA profiles of Mutant X? Comments to Dr Harrison about being late for work? A background check of Adam with 3 mutually exclusive results? Mason Eckhart’s email? All there, with so much more. Dig deeply, and you will be rewarded.
